The Buffs landed the #48 recruiting class in the nation as rated by rivals.com. Headlining the class is DE Nick Kasa, DT Edward Nuckols, OL Jack Harris, WR Andre Simmons, and QB Clark Evans. Kasa and Nuckols are considered to be two of the premier defensive linemen in the west and the Buffs feel very fortunate to have them after Florida and Oregon made strong surges for both. Jack Harris is the #19 offensive lineman in the nation and should provide an immediate impact to an offensive line that was plagued with injuries and inexperience in 2008. QB Clark Evans stands 6'5", 225 and runs a 4.7 40-yard dash. Evans style of play has been compared to that of Tim Tebow. His unique combination of size and athleticism as a quarterback creates the potential for a very explosive Colorado offense in the near future.
